in the Garden
A very special event took place on August 10: A Night in the Garden. It started with a open-air lecture by Dominique Rankin and Marie-Josée Tardif, The Earth that Dwells in Me, and was followed by a night under the stars for some 40 participants. This unique experience ended early morning with a forest bathing, a shinrin-yoku in the Garden's arboretum.
« Nature dwells within us much more than we might think! We are the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. Caring for nature means caring for ourselves. We can each do something as individuals to make a difference »
- Laure Waridel, eco-sociologist and spokeswoman for these Human and Nature Encounters.
